Our children's skin was so sensitive that conventional detergents were out of the question. Instead of compromising, we began making our own, using natural recipes passed down from a grandmother. Friends and family soon wanted them too – and that's how Mulieres began. Of all our products, the Pure Unscented gel is the closest to where it all started.

— Merylin and Karel, founders of Mulieres

How we make it

We make every bottle in our own factory in Tallinn, Estonia, and we make our soap from extra virgin olive oil – the same quality you'd choose for your own kitchen. These are details most people never see, and exactly the kind we care about.

Clean doesn't need a scent

A strong smell doesn't make laundry cleaner. It only adds perfume. Olive oil soap cleans the way soap always has: it lifts dirt and grease, and rinses out without leaving fragrance behind. Used at the right dose, it gets everyday laundry properly clean.

Proof, not promises

Made in our own factory in Tallinn, Estonia

Approved by the Estonian Allergy Association

Winner, Natural & Organic Asia Award 2019, home products category

Ecodetergent certified by Ecocert Greenlife

Vegan

100% of ingredients of natural origin

98% biodegradable (OECD 301)

Questions we often hear

Does it really clean as well as conventional detergents?

Yes, when it's used at the right dose. Olive oil soap lifts dirt and grease the way soap always has. What it doesn't do is leave a heavy perfume behind – and that strong smell is often mistaken for "clean".

Does it work at 30 °C?

Yes. The gel works from 30 to 60 °C. Washing at lower temperatures saves energy and is kinder to your clothes.

How much should I use?

About 40 ml for a standard load. Use a little more for heavily soiled laundry. One 1.5 L bottle is enough for 37 loads.

Can I use it in any washing machine?

Yes – front-loading and top-loading machines, including machines with automatic dosing. It also works for hand washing.

Can I wash wool, silk and outdoor gear with it?

Yes. It's suitable for all fabrics, including wool, silk and Gore-Tex sportswear. Always follow the care label.

Is it suitable for baby clothes and sensitive skin?

Yes – including newborns' clothes. That's exactly why we made it. It's fragrance-free and approved by the Estonian Allergy Association.

Pairs well with

Natural Origin Multi Cleaner Pure Unscented – make your whole home fragrance-free.
